Rosamez.com is Szabolcs Kurdi
I am a frontend developer by trade from Hungary, Europe. Shall you be interested, a somewhat outdated cv may be found at LinkedIn; the site here is mostly a sandbox, where I keep projects which need external access or are just floating around.
To contact me feel free to send me a mail to szabolcs.kurdi AT gmail DOT com, phone is +36 20 484 26 84; I keep away from overly social sites, like Facebook or Google Plus.
The site also has my
jEdit macros, which I do use on
a daily basis - and it hosts my (b)log about
watching movies (in Hungarian),
which I like to do in my freetime. I used to do
cg, some of the less useless
works are still available as a picasa local
gallery.
Pet projects / things you might find interesting but probably you won't /
- jDvdKat: a (data) dvd catalogizer desktop application written in java, with an integrated xml database and a versatile directory crawler. Can be found on google code, be sure to read the wiki before installing it.
- XML-TextEditor: a lightweight xml editor with parsing, syntax highlighting, keyboard shortcuts, multiple undos and redos - written in AS3 (code, demo).
- Various javascript related projects at GitHub: among others a forEach implementation for jQuery and some class emulation libraries may be of minor interest.
- RmzSlider: a jQuery slider plugin written long ago, but it still can be useful - interfaces are implemented via events and the code itself can easily be modified with overrides. Newest version is now on github
- Bookmarklet builder: a fully frontend bookmarklet builder, with predefined bookmarklets, minification and preview. Examples are here - newly created ones are stored in local storage only.
- iGoogle gadgets: sometimes the widgetized web can be useful, especially with loads of information crammed into one page; so far a public Twitter feed reader may be interesting here, but for a demo page click here.
